Outside Wedding Vendors
Welcome to Rustic Manor 1848! We're excited to be working with you on our client's upcoming event! In order for their event to be a success, we want to you become familiar with our rules and policies before arriving. Based on the type of vendor you are, please find your information section below. Any additional questions can be directed to our office during regular business hours Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10:00am - 5:00pm.

Caterers & Food service
Rustic Manor 1848 operates with a list of Preferred Caterers. Although we are not adding to this list, we do permit outside caterers to operate on site. A 5% service fee based on your client's final catering invoice is due to Rustic Manor 1848 the day of the event.
We also require, prior to your arrival, the following:
1) A copy of your Liability Insurance (required annually)
2) Signed copy of our Catering Policy Sheet
3) Copy of your client's final invoice. A 5% fee based on this invoice is due to Rustic Manor 1848 prior to your arrival.
When you arrive, please pull your catering vehicle(s) to the north side of the building. Here you can back right up to your designated catering room. You'll find stainless steel work tables, a single door reach in cooler and trash cans to aid you in your dinner service. Water can be obtained at our bar (see our staff) but be sure to bring your own ice! Staff vehicles must be parked in our parking lot while catering trucks (2 max) can be parked just outside the catering room. Upon conclusion of your service, please refer to the checklist of To-Do's for your team to complete prior to you leaving for the night. Out of respect to our team and your clients, please leave the catering room clean and ready for the next caterers who will be utilizing the space.
Please remember that all items (china, service ware, rentals, linens, etc.) must be removed at the conclusion of the event.
Decor, china, linens and other items that you may provide for your client's event must be delivered after 10:00am the morning of the event and removed by 12:00am (Friday/Saturday) or 11:00pm (Sunday/Weekdays) that evening. Special exceptions can be made IN ADVANCE for companies to pick up items the following morning no later than 10:00am.
We must provide the same courtesies to our clients joining us for
their event the next day by removing all items!
Sunday events may be permitted to schedule pick-ups that Wednesday/Thursday during office hours with prior approval. Contact our office today to discuss your delivery and pick up needs!
Photographers & Videographers
We are SO excited to have you here! Please feel free to use the entire barn and surrounding 12 acres of Rustic Manor 1848 grounds to capture our client's special day.
Inside the farmhouse is not available for photography/videography use as it is the home of owners Eric and Whitney Shneyder. The front porch is however, available for you to utilize and enjoy!
We always love to share images with future clients on social media. Please be sure to tag us or share with us your blog posts or client galleries. With a Facebook following of over 4,300 people we'd love to give you some exposure so we can see you back here as soon as possible! At this time, we are not looking to expand our Preferred List of photographers/videographers.
Please remember to bring any step stools/ladders you may require for shooting. We kindly ask you do not stand on our chairs for your own safety.
Looking to use the grounds for an upcoming shoot? Take a look at our Policies and then contact our office to discuss available dates! All shoots must have prior approval by our office. Rustic Manor 1848 clients are provided the grounds free of charge for engagement sessions!
DJ's & Live Bands
As the heart and soul of the party, we are excited to have you joining us! Before you arrive, please be sure that your company's liability insurance has been provided to our office.
If you provide up-lighting services, we require you to name Rustic Manor 1848 LLC on your liability insurance.
Please remember that arrival for events is permitted anytime after 10:00am. Friday/Saturday events have last call at 11:30pm unless otherwise requested by your clients. Your last song must be done by 11:45pm as this is when we turn the hall lights on. Clients must vacate by 12:00am so music played past 11:45pm will result in additional fees to your client. Sunday/Weekday events end 1 hour earlier (10:30pm last call, 10:45pm lights up with 11:00pm vacate).
We allow for an additional 30 minutes following guest vacate for vendors to finish packing/loading their belongings as we clean and prepare for the next day's event.
